Laser Tattoo Removal

About the Treatment

Alma Harmony’s laser tattoo removal technology is designed to effectively target and break down tattoo ink without damaging or scarring the surrounding skin.

Using Q-Switched laser technology at 1064 nm and 532 nm wavelengths, Harmony emits powerful bursts of light energy that penetrate the skin to reach the tattoo ink. The light energy breaks the ink particles into smaller fragments, which are then gradually eliminated by the body’s lymphatic system.

Harmony is most effective for targeting black, red, blue, and green ink; some ink colors, particularly lighter shades like yellow and white, may be more challenging or impossible to remove. While most tattoos can be significantly reduced or completely removed, complete removal may not always be possible, and some residual shadowing or lightening of the skin may occur.

Additionally, cosmetic tattoo ink can respond less predictably than body tattoo ink; therefore, a test spot is often performed prior to treating an entire area.
